Internet Safety
Keeping children and young people safe online is one of the biggest challenges facing our ever-changing, fast-paced digital society today and it is all of our responsibility to ensure that children are educated and equipped to make the best, informed choices when they are online.
As part of Palace Fields School's computing curriculum, children engage in expressly taught E-Safety lessons. In accordance with our E-Safety Policy, where both teachers and students are given guidance on how to use the Internet safely. Every year group participates in lessons on e-safety and children understand how to stay safe when using technology.
However, your help and support is also needed to prevent children accessing inappropriate material at home by ensuring that parental controls and filters are in place on any device your child has access to.
We also encourage parents to regularly engage in conversation about E-safety with their children.

The CEOP (Child Exploitation and Online Protection Centre) is on many social networking sites. It is the Advice, help and Report button. Clicking on it will take you to their website, where you can follow links for help and support whether you are a child or parent. It is very easy to navigate so please click on it next time you see the logo.
