Welcome to Palace Fields Primary School

Palace Fields Primary School is a GOOD school.

On behalf of the pupils, staff and governors, I am very pleased and very proud to welcome you to Palace Fields Primary School’s website. In September 2016 Palace Fields became part of the Heath Family Multi Academy Trust which has an excellent reputation both locally and across the North West.

Visitors to our school comment on the warm welcome they receive and the friendly atmosphere that exists. We have a fantastic team of staff who value our children and their families and who work very hard to provide rich and fulfilling experiences within a nurturing environment enabling our children to become happy, confident and successful citizens of the future.

Each child is valued as an individual and we aim to provide opportunities for all to excel in areas where they have a special talent including sport, drama, art and music. We strive to inspire, enthuse and motivate our children to develop a lifelong love of learning enabling them to make outstanding progress and attain their very best.

We have high expectations of everyone at Palace Fields: staff and pupils alike. We work hard but there is a great deal of fun and laughter along the way.

If you would like to contact me, or arrange a visit to come and see our school please do not hesitate to get in touch. I look forward to welcoming you.

Mr Paul Holloway – Principal

' Excellence in Everything: Learning and Growing Together'

Palace Fields Primary has introduced McKie Mastery from September 2018.

McKie Mastery is a Power Teaching and Learning model which retrains teachers to radically change the standard teaching approach and strategies in schools across the UK.

McKie Mastery delivers leadership training which equips leaders to retrain all staff to deliver more effectively in the classroom using a very different approach.

McKie Mastery is about the how we teach not the what we teach. It is not: Resources or single gimmick activities. It is: Radical change in the way teachers teach, children learn and leaders lead. It has a proven to work, solid track record in radically improving school results and inspection outcomes as well as maintaining outstanding practice and results in schools across the country.

Please contact Claire McKie directly or Grange Park Primary School (UK Lead school) to find out more.

We are absolutely delighted to now be able to share with you the report following our recent Ofsted Inspection.  Palace Fields Primary School is now officially a GOOD school having been judged as GOOD in all 5 areas.
